Explaining deep technology to two audiences at once
A company applying AI and ML to drug discovery and pharmaceutical development, given a site that speaks credibly to both scientists and the executives who fund them.
The challenge
InnovLabs.ai is dedicated to redefining the future of pharmaceutical and life sciences through the intelligent application of AI and ML — combining data science, biotechnology and pharmaceutical expertise to accelerate drug discovery and improve patient outcomes. That mission has to land with two very different readers on the same page: a scientist evaluating technical rigour, and a pharma executive or investor evaluating commercial credibility. Most deep-tech sites collapse into jargon that satisfies neither.
Our approach
We structured the site so scientific credibility and commercial positioning could both be true without competing for the same sentence — technical depth available for the reader who wants it, without forcing every visitor to wade through it to understand what the company actually does and for whom.
What we actually did
Messaging layered so a scientific evaluator finds the technical substance and a commercial evaluator finds the business case, without either audience having to read past content aimed at the other.
AI and ML applications across drug discovery and development pipelines presented as distinct capabilities rather than one undifferentiated "we use AI" claim — the specificity that makes a scientific reader trust the site.
A site built to match the seriousness of the science it represents — the visual and technical quality expected by pharma and biotech partners evaluating a new AI vendor.
The outcome
Scientific and commercial readers now both find what they need without the page collapsing into generic AI-company language that satisfies neither.
Distinct capabilities across the discovery and development pipeline replace a single vague AI claim, which is what a technical evaluator is actually screening for.
Presentation quality now sits at the level pharma and biotech partners expect before taking a new AI vendor seriously.
InnovLabs.ai now has a site built to be read two ways at once — rigorous enough for a scientist, clear enough for a commercial decision-maker. For deep-tech and life-sciences companies, that dual fluency is usually the difference between a credible site and one that quietly loses both audiences.
Does any of this sound familiar?
This project started from a specific set of symptoms. If you recognise several of these in your own business, the problem is probably closer to InnovLabs.ai's than it looks.
Deep-tech and life-sciences sites fail by picking one audience and losing the other. We would map who actually reads your site — the scientist, the buyer, the investor — and build a structure where each finds their own path through the same content instead of forcing everyone through one generic narrative.
